Our Events

While there has already been considerable consultation on Village 7 as part of the Outline Planning Application and both Masterplan and Design Code, Taylor Wimpey has most recently been progressing more detailed elements of the proposals as part of a Reserved Matters Application.

On this page you can find information consultation events we have held. All of these events were open to the public for information and to share views with the team.

Together with Places for People, who are delivering other villages in the Gilston Area, the previous landowner for Village 7 held two public consultation events on the Outline Planning Application for the site. These were:

• Saturday 9 March 2023 at the Harvey Centre, Harlow CM20 1XR
• Saturday 16 March 2023 at Hunsdon Village Hall, High Street, Hunsdon, SG12 8NJ

As part of the consultation on the Masterplan and Design Code for Village 7, Taylor Wimpey held the following public consultation events in 2023 in-person:

  • 11:30-18:45, Tuesday 31 October 2023 at Gilston and Eastwick Village Hall, Eastwick Road, CM20 2RB
  • 16:30-18:30, Wednesday 15 November 2023, Hunsdon Village Hall, 43 High Street, Hunsdon, SG12 8NJ
